How Zylam Insecticide Works

With dinotefuran as the mode of action, this liquid insecticide kills numerous insect pests within a few hours. It works on contact and by ingestion, targeting the insect's central nervous system and creating overstimulation. Not long after ingestion, the insects experience paralysis and eventually death. Although it harms insect pests, it has a relatively low-risk factor to humans, pets and other nontarget animals.
