How Hyvar X-L Herbicide Works

Whereas Hyvar X Herbicide contains only bromacil, Hyvar X-L Herbicide contains bromacil lithium salt for a more effective way to target, kill and prevent brush and other weeds from ruining noncrop areas. This active ingredient is absorbed through the weeds' roots, moving through the plants and killing them over time. Though Hyvar X-L doesn't kill right away, it provides residual weed control long after the plants have died. 

Where to Use Hyvar X-L Herbicide

Because of its powerful formula, you should only use Hyvar X-L Herbicide on noncrop sites, not residential and recreational lawns. It's useful for killing weeds and brush on rights of way, along fence rows and throughout lumberyards. You can use it on bare ground to kill annual and perennial weeds around storage areas, utility sites and petroleum tank farms. It's easy to apply as a spot treatment using a hand or backpack sprayer.
